As an example, our suction cups can successfully pick up individual pieces or sheets of cardboard, position them, and then set them down and release them. Once the cardboard is stamped with a rolling die to cut and shape it, suction cups can then assist in the process of making boxes.

We begin with our design services. In this phase of production, our team will work closely with you to develop application-specific cups that meet your specifications. We can start with a two- or three-dimensional drawing that you’ve provided of a product idea you have in mind, make adjustments to one of our standard products to fit your project, or design a fully custom cup.

Once you’ve settled on part design, we’ll then build a corresponding mold to generate products that accomplish your specific goals. We hand-pour or injection-mold our cups, with fast turn times for prototypes and demo preliminary cups. We can also provide samples to help you determine the best fit for your application.

We have multiple thread sizes available to help clients in both the U.S. and the EU. Vi-Cas Manufacturing carries NPT and BSP threads as well as metric and imperial threads for which we can match hole diameters. We have screw-on and stick-on varieties as well as cups with or without metal fittings, with options for bellows and pleats, as needed. We can alter height, width, material, cup and lip diameter, thickness, stiffness, heat-resistance capabilities, and color. Also, we offer level compensators with a spring-loaded component to help cups rise and fall, allowing the product to pick up oddly shaped parts or those of varying sizes and shapes.
